814 notesSo it’s been nearly a year since I’ve featured my choreography on film. I was just chillin’ at home and a friend of mine had posted a link to Passion’s cover of Gotye’s Somebody That I Used To Know. By this time now, Gotye’s song had been the most played song on the radio and was stuck in everyone’s head. Plus my big bro, Anthony Lee, had just released his choreography the song which has 400,000+ views. Anyways, once Passion began to play his cover, I fell in love with it. It’s GENIUS. Who would’ve ever thought of covering SBTIUTK over Aaliyah’s Are You That Somebody. Not only am I a huge Aaliyah fan, but I was always a big fan of Passion’s covers.
After listening to the song at least 10 times a day for over a week, I finally decided to make a piece to it. Despite the song being out of my comfort, zone, what a better time to challenge myself than now! So I hit up some fellas that I really admire as dancers, called up my mentor/big bro Anthony to make a cameo, and contacted the amazingly talented videographer/ CADC Alumni Christina Jungle to film/edit my video. And this is the finished product! Enjoy!
